The Homecoming Project is an eight-bed halfway house program for recovering chemically dependent women in Bel Air, MD. The program is appropriate for women who have completed short-term, intensive treatment within 30 days of admission.  Guidelines have been established to provide a structured setting that address the specific needs of the female addict.

The Homecoming Project provides a supportive, healing environment to strengthen and empower women for their return as fully functioning members of society. Clients participate in a variety of educational and therapeutic activities throughout treatment, gradually gaining life skills. All clients are required to work and attend AA or NA meetings as well as actively participate in a program of recovery. As part of the program of recovery, The Homecoming Project staff, including Board Certified Clinicians, provides group therapy, life-skills training, and daily meditation.

The Homecoming Project Mission: To provide the facilities and staff necessary to develop, establish and maintain a safe, supportive environment for women, in a comprehensive family-centered program of recovery from alcoholism and/or drug addiction.

The Homecoming Project Vision: To provide a comprehensive family-centered program to assist women in recovery from alcoholism and/or drug addiction while forming a close partnership with the local community.

Treatment duration: 9+ months, depending upon individual need
